The number of vehicles delivered is not disclosed but the attached photo shows at least 5 specialized vehicles. These vehicles were delivered under the American technical assistance program. These 4×4, 4-door SUVs are equipped with a bull bar, a self-recovering winch, two additional headlights and an extended air intake. More interesting is the kind of protected antenna mounted on the roof which makes it possible to deduce that the vehicles benefit from a special communication kit (to be checked). Other changes may have been made, but they are not apparent.
Ukraine has already received 43 new Toyota Land Cruiser 70 vehicles in early 2017. They are currently assigned to various tasks with Ukrainian SOF units.
