It can drive at a maximum speed of 70 km / h on the road with a maximum range of 500 km. The Oplot BM can cross a vertical obstacle of 1 m and a trench of 2.85 m. It can negotiate a slope of 32 ° and slopes of 25 °. It can cross water obstacles with a depth of 1.8 m without preparation.
