The state-run Konotop aircraft repair plant AVIAKON handed over a repaired and modernized Mi-8MT helicopter to the Ukrainian Army Aviation, a military aviation of the Ukrainian ground forces.
This is according to the press service of the Ukrainian state-owned company Ukroboronprom.
In particular, the helicopter was improved with Ukrainian active and passive missile protection systems with infrared target search devices, as well as with Ukrainian-made armored plates.
