The Ukrainian army forces the enemy to defend in the direction of Kryvyi Rih


The Ukrainian armed forces forced the enemy to defend themselves in the direction of Kryvyi Rih.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this in its latest war update issued on Facebook.

According to the report, from 6:00 p.m. on June 2, in the Volyn and Polissia regions, the main efforts of the Belarusian armed forces focused on strengthening measures to protect the state border.

“At the same time, forest roads, bypasses and bridges are mined in the border areas of our country. The threat remains that the enemy will launch missiles and airstrikes from the Republic of Belarus,” says the report.

The enemy was not active in the direction of Sivershchyna. The movement of artillery and motorized infantry units was recorded.

In the direction of Slobozhanshchyna, the enemy continues to prepare for the offensive, with units replenishing lost weapons, equipment and military supplies.

In order to reduce the offensive potential of the Ukrainian troops, the enemy uses artillery to attack the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

The enemy was not active in the direction of Kharkiv. The main efforts are focused on controlling captured territory and supply routes and resisting Ukrainian forces. The enemy continues to shell civilian infrastructure in the settlement areas of Tsyrkuny, Stara Hnylytsia, Peremoha and Staryi Saltiv. Airstrikes were inflicted outside the Nove settlement.

In the direction of Sloviansk, the enemy is concentrating its efforts on creating conditions for the offensive. Russian forces fired at civilian infrastructure in the areas of Dovhenke, Virnopillia, Hrushuvakha, Velyka Komyshuvakha and Husarivka.

In the direction of Donetsk, the Russian occupiers continue to use mortars, artillery and multiple rocket launchers along the entire line of contact.

In the direction of Lyman, the enemy fired at civilian infrastructure in the Sosnove, Svyatohirsk, Staryi Karavan and Raihorodok regions. Russian forces carried out assault operations in the settlement areas of Studenok, Sosnove and Yarova. In this sense, the enemy has intensified electronic warfare work.

In the direction of Sievierodonetsk, the occupiers continue to shell the positions of the Defense Forces and civilian infrastructure in the settlement areas of Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk. The enemy attack aircraft launched airstrikes in the Ustynivka and Borivske areas. Also, near Borivske, the enemy carried out assaults, but without success.

In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy carried out offensive and assault operations outside the settlements of Komyshuvakha, Mykolaivka, Vrubivka, Berestove and Bilohorivka.

In the Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia regions, the enemy did not conduct active hostilities, trying to strengthen their grouping and restore the loss of weapons and military equipment. Airstrikes were launched on civilian infrastructure in Marinka. In addition, shelling was recorded in the areas of the settlements of Vidrodzennia, Dolomitne, Toretsk, Novobahmutivka, Avdiivka, Pisky, Mykilske, Vuhledar and others.

In the southern area of ​​Buh, in order to keep control of the defense lines, the Russian occupiers are destroying transport infrastructure in areas where the Ukrainian defense forces could advance.

In the direction of Kryvyi Rih, the enemy is forced to defend their unprepared positions. Electronic warfare work has intensified. Russian forces fired at civilian infrastructure in Shyroke, Lepetykha, Shevchenkove, Osokorivka, Partyzanske and other regions.

In the operational areas of the Black Sea and Azov, enemy naval groups are focused on maintaining a favorable operational regime and blocking civilian shipping in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.

The enemy continues to suffer losses in men and material. According to available information, 115 wounded and 32 dead Russian soldiers were admitted to medical institutions in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk region alone from May 27 to 28, 2022.
