The volunteer explained how Ukrainian troops were advancing in the area.
General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Ukrainian joint forces entered the outskirts of occupied Horlivka and reduced the distance to militants’ positions to just 350 meters, according to Ukrainian volunteer Yuriy Mysiahin.
“The media wrote that the army has advanced and the units have entered the outskirts of the occupied Horlivka. And the distance to the enemy has been reduced to 350 meters. Look at the weather. The frost is gone. The earth is already soft, there is no problem digging now. It is easy. And no pickax is needed. This is what many units of the Ukrainian armed forces are now doing on the front line. Small groups are advancing, secretly digging and strengthening their positions. The distance to the enemy is being reduced to a few hundred steps, and not just to Horlivka. It’s all over the map. The hotter it is, the more they advance, âMysyahin wrote on Facebook.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Andriy Shor, a Ukrainian demining specialist and serviceman who participated in the battles for Donetsk airport and the village of Pisky, said the Ukrainian Armed Forces have crossed the border from the Russian-occupied city of Horlivka in Donetsk region.
