Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the country will switch to âpaperlessâ mode on August 24, 2021, significantly reducing bureaucracy.
He announced it at the Diia 2.0 Summit in the pan-Ukrainian forum “Ukraine 30. Digitization” in the city of Kiev, reported a UNIAN correspondent.
“On August 24, Ukraine will switch to ‘paperless’ mode, as we promised. No papers for public authorities, no one will require from a Ukrainian citizen papers or certificates for the provision of services public, âsaid the president.
According to Zelensky, the Ukrainian government will do everything to ensure that the âpaperless stateâ exists in reality, not on paper.

- On May 14, 2021, the legislator registered a draft law âOn the specifics of the provision of electronic public servicesâ (No. 5495), which prohibits civil servants from demanding paper documents from Ukrainians.
